Groton Dunstable Youth Lacrosse

My my My my
Lacrosse Skills and Drills this Sunday

Welcome to our fall 2020 Skills and Drills clinic.  Running every Sunday between September 27th  and November 1st  (weather permitting).

The clinic will be on Cow Pond fields all the way on the left-hand side (previous football field).

The times for the age groups are as follows:

  • Boys U9 & U11: 10-11am
  • Boys U13 & U15: 11-12pm
  • Girls U9 & U11: 1-2pm
  • Girls U13 & U15: 2-3pm

The expectation is masks will be worn by all participants and spectators at all times. No gaiters or face sheilds will be allowed.

Upon arrival, please have players dress as much as possible while in the car. Upon entering the field, players, coaches, volunteers, and spectators must all visit the "Sanitation Station" prior to participation.

In addition, all players must have a signed Waiver  and must check in at the Sanitation Station.

The Guidelines must be adhered to in order for us to maintain an appropriate level of safety for everyone involved.  It is the responsibility of parents, players, coaches, and volunteers to review the Guidelines and understand your responsibility.

This level of responsibility when demonstrated by all stakeholders, allows this program the degree of freedom to offer opportunities for players to continue their development and love of lacrosse.

All safety equipment will be required.

  • Boys: All players must have a lacrosse stick, lacrosse helmet, gloves, arm pads, chest/shoulder pads, athletic cup and mouthguard. Cleats recommended, but not required.
  • Girls: All players must have a lacrosse stick, eye protection and a mouthguard. Cleats recommended, but not required.

We hope to make this an enjoyable experience for all as we begin to on-ramp for additional activities in the spring!

Please review the Guidelines and be sure to bring the Waiver (signed) with you on Sunday.

I look forward to seeing you at the Sanitation Station!

Happy Friday!

Fall Skills & Drills Program is open to boys and girls in the 1st through 8th grades (based on Spring 2020 registration levels/grade). We will focus on player skills training while keeping the players socially distanced per Governor Baker's guidelines. This means that players will be kept at least six feet apart at all times, personal contact will be mitigated, and there will be more structure in small groups without holding scrimmages.

Boys U9 & U11: 10-11am

Boys U13 & U15: 11-12pm

Girls U9 & U11: 1-2pm

Girls U13 & U15: 2-3pm

ALL PLAYERS THAT WERE REGISTERED FOR SPRING 2020 SESSION:  You DO NOT need to register again with MBYLL.  Your current membership is still valid until the end of the year.  Due to some technology restrictions, please remove your MBYLL membership number from the form when you register as it won't recognize it.

All NEW players (BOYS U9 - U15), that didn't play in the spring, must first register with PRIOR to registering with Groton Dunstable Youth Lacrosse. MBYLL registration is a reduced fee of $30 right now, which includes the required athletic insurance and league fees (scheduling, officials assignment, coaching education, etc.).
